Does saphnelo cause weight gain?

My doctor prescribed Saphnelo a few months ago for my autoimmune condition. Since then, I feel like I've gained some weight, especially around my midsection. Is weight gain a known side effect of Saphnelo?

Biological treatments can affect everyone differently. If your doctor allows, keeping up a routine of daily gentle walks and eating a clean diet can help you manage any potential weight fluctuations during therapy.

When you are on long-term medical treatments, it is very important to monitor your weight and blood sugar. Sometimes medications can alter metabolism, so keeping a close eye on your daily diet is a good practice. Always check with your doctor.

Don't stress too much about weight changes right now. Your priority should be managing your health condition under your doctor's guidance. If you do notice a sudden change in weight, just discuss it calmly with your rheumatologist.

I have been on Saphnelo for a while now. I didn't experience any direct weight gain from the drug itself, but managing chronic fatigue can sometimes make you less active. Focus on resting well and light movement.

I once ignored rapid weight changes while on strong medications, thinking it was normal, and it led to other complications. Please don't guess; if you notice sudden weight gain, get a checkup immediately to find the cause.

Weight gain isn't typically listed as a main side effect of Saphnelo, so you might be totally fine! Just focus on feeling better and keep your doctor updated. Take care! 😊
