Does saphnelo cause hair loss?

I'm currently on a new medication called Saphnelo for my condition. Lately, I've noticed my hair thinning a bit more than usual. Could Saphnelo be a cause for hair loss, or is it unrelated?

Actually yaar, hair loss can be a side effect of many lupus medications, or even the condition itself. It is super frustrating, I know. You should definitely bring this up with your rheumatologist to see if they can suggest something.

While I focus mostly on fitness and nutrition, I know that strong clinical medications can sometimes impact your hair. If you are experiencing thinning, try focusing on protein intake and gentle exercises to keep stress low, but definitely discuss this side effect with your specialist.

Look, with advanced treatments like Saphnelo, you shouldn't rely on random internet forums. Hair thinning can happen due to various reasons, including the underlying illness. Talk directly to your treating doctor instead of guessing.

I am about to start this treatment and I am so anxious about the side effects, especially hair loss. Has anyone else here actually experienced significant hair thinning while on Saphnelo? Please share your experience.

I was reading up on Saphnelo recently out of curiosity. While hair loss isn't listed as the most common side effect, some patients on forums have mentioned experiencing thinning. It seems very subjective, so your doctor would know best.

Please don't worry too much. Sometimes our bodies take time to adjust to new biological treatments, and stress only makes hair fall worse. Keep a calm mind and discuss this transition period with your doctor.

Managing long-term health issues requires a lot of care with medications. If you notice any new symptoms like hair loss after starting a treatment, it is best to get a complete checkup and consult your doctor to adjust the plan.

At this point in my life, half my hair is gone anyway just from looking at my medical bills! But seriously, with these heavy medications, always let your doctor know about any new side effects you notice.

My aunt always tells me to use traditional herbal hair oils, but when it comes to advanced therapies like Saphnelo, we must trust the specialist. If you observe hair loss, let your rheumatologist know so they can guide you properly.

I completely understand how stressful hair loss can be, especially when you are already dealing with a chronic illness. Sometimes it's hard to tell if it's the drug or the flare-up causing it. A quick chat with your rheumatologist can help clear your doubts.
