Does redken cause hair loss?

I've been using Redken shampoo and conditioner for a few months now, thinking it would be good for my hair. But recently, I've noticed a lot more hair fall than usual. Could this hair product be causing my hair loss?

Chemical shampoos like Redken might contain strong ingredients that strip the scalp of natural oils. I found that doing daily scalp massage and breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom improved blood flow and stopped my hair fall naturally.

Don't believe online rumors about specific brands causing baldness. Hair loss is usually hormonal (like DHT) or due to nutritional deficiencies, not just a shampoo. Go to a qualified dermatologist to find the real root cause.

In our days, we only used shikakai and hibiscus leaves, and our hair stayed thick. These expensive foreign chemical bottles often do more harm than good to Indian hair. Don't worry, just stop using it for a while and apply pure coconut oil.

Honestly, Redken is a premium salon brand and works great for colored hair. If you are losing hair, it is likely due to Mumbai's hard water or stress, not the shampoo itself. Switch to using filter water for your head wash first.

I used Redken's protein range and my hair started breaking a lot because of 'protein overload'. It turns out too much protein makes hair stiff and brittle. Try switching to a simple hydrating shampoo and see if the shedding stops!

It can be very stressful to see hair in the shower drain. Try changing your shampoo to a mild, baby shampoo for a few weeks to let your scalp heal.
