Does psoriasis spread on the body?

Psoriasis on my scalp and a few patches on my elbows are a concern. I'm really worried that it might start spreading to other parts of my body, like my back or chest. Does psoriasis spread widely across the body over time?

Yes, psoriasis can appear on new areas of your body over time, especially during stressful periods. It usually starts on elbows or knees and can move to the scalp or back, but it is not contagious to others.

It can spread if your body is highly inflamed. Keeping my diet clean, cutting out refined sugar, and exercising regularly helped me stop it from spreading to other body parts.

It has a mind of its own! Started on my elbow and decided to visit my scalp next. But don't worry, with the right ointment, you can make it pack its bags and leave.

Putra, jab sharir mein garmi badhti hai toh yeh failta hai. Tamatar aur mirch masala kam khao aur khujlana bilkul band karo, tabhi yeh ek jagah rukega.

It can spread to other areas because it's a systemic immune response. Keep your skin well-hydrated and follow your dermatologist's topical therapy strictly to prevent it from spreading.

Yes, it spreads when the immune system is overactive. Gentle breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom help calm your nervous system, which can prevent new patches from appearing.
