Does pregnancy cause hemorrhoids?

I'm in my second trimester, and I've started feeling some discomfort, especially when sitting for long. Someone mentioned it could be hemorrhoids during pregnancy. Is this actually common?

Yes, unfortunately the pressure of the growing uterus plus constipation can cause piles during pregnancy. I dealt with this by eating high-fiber foods, taking warm sitz baths, and never straining on the toilet. If you notice any bright red blood in your stool, make sure to show it to your doctor right away.

Hey, don't be embarrassed at all, this is a very common issue that many pregnant women face but don't talk about openly. Just focus on drinking plenty of water and eating lots of green veggies. Take it easy, don't stand for too long, and keep your doctor in the loop, alright?

I had severe hemorrhoids during my second pregnancy thirty years ago. It felt terrible at the time, but let me reassure you that it usually shrinks and goes away completely on its own after the delivery. Just stay hydrated and don't worry too much.

My wife suffered from this, and the pain actually used to stress her out, which was bad for her blood pressure. We had to focus on a gentle, high-fiber lifestyle and keep her BP monitored closely. Ensure you are getting regular checkups so your doctor can manage all symptoms safely.

Haan, yeh toh sach mein bohot uncomfortable ho jata hai, na! Sitting down becomes a task. Try using a soft pillow to sit on and eat curd daily to keep your digestion smooth. Don't worry, it is very common in the third trimester.

Oh my god, I am terrified of getting this! Every time I feel a little constipated, I start panicking that it will turn into painful piles. My friend told me that drinking warm milk with a little ghee at night helps keep things smooth, but please ask your doctor before trying anything.

My wife had this and between her back pain, our sleepless nights, and the hemorrhoids, we were basically a household of walking zombies! It is highly uncomfortable, but honest to god, it is just one of those lovely pregnancy perks. Hang in there!
