Does pot cause hair loss?

I've noticed my hair thinning quite a bit recently, and I'm trying to figure out possible causes. I do use 'pot' occasionally. Could it be possible that pot causes hair loss?

I totally get it, noticing hair fall can be so stressful and makes you question every single habit. While there isn't a direct link, smoking can sometimes affect blood circulation to the hair follicles, which might cause thinning. Try focusing on a nutrient-rich diet to help your hair bounce back.

I have been noticing my hairline receding lately and I was wondering if my smoking habits have something to do with it. Has anyone else noticed their hair fall increasing after starting? It is making me really worried and I might stop completely.

You will find people on internet forums claiming weed does everything from curing cancer to causing baldness. Don't believe these unsourced claims without checking with a qualified dermatologist first. They can do a proper scalp analysis to find the actual reason for your hair loss.

I can only speak from my own life experience, but when I was using it frequently, my hair felt extremely dry and fell out in the shower. Once I cut it out and focused on regular oiling and a high-protein diet, my scalp health returned to normal within a few months.

I didn't know that lifestyle habits could affect hair so quickly. If someone stops using it, does the hair loss stop immediately, or does it take a lot of months to see any improvement? I'm just curious to know.

With my busy work schedule, I don't have time for complicated hair routines. If you are smoking regularly, it can disrupt your sleep cycle, and lack of sleep is a major cause of hair fall. Focus on getting 8 hours of solid sleep and cutting down on bad habits first.

Actually, regular smoking of any kind can increase oxidative stress in the body and affect hormonal balance, which can indirectly trigger hair fall. It's usually not the direct cause like genetics, but it certainly doesn't help. Try keeping your body hydrated and taking standard multivitamins if your doctor approves.

I have friends who smoke a lot and some have great hair while others are balding, so it's mostly down to genetics bro. But yeah, smoking definitely robs your skin and hair of moisture. Staying hydrated and eating clean is the basic rule.

Instead of spending thousands on expensive anti-hairfall shampoos and oils, it is better to get a basic blood test for Vitamin D3 and B12 first. It costs under a thousand rupees and usually reveals the real culprit. Lifestyle changes are completely free and help a lot.
