Does platelet rich plasma therapy work for hair loss?

Experiencing a lot of hair loss lately and considering PRP therapy. Does platelet-rich plasma therapy genuinely work for hair regrowth, or is it not very effective?

I got 4 sessions of PRP done last year because my hairline was receding fast. Honestly, my hair fall stopped completely and it feels much thicker now, but the injections hurt a bit. It is definitely worth trying if you have the budget.

Listen, PRP does work for many people, but it is not magic. It helps to control hair fall and make existing hair thicker, but it won't regrow hair on a completely bald spot. Go to a good dermatologist and get your scalp checked first.

I totally get it, losing hair can be so painful and really hurts your confidence. PRP has given great results to some of my friends, while for others it was just average. It really depends on your body, so take a deep breath and consult a trusted skin doctor.

I panicked like crazy when my hair started shedding in clumps after Covid and immediately ran for PRP. My doctor reassured me that temporary shedding is normal and PRP would help stimulate recovery. My hair is back to normal now, so please don't panic.

PRP is good for boosting follicle health, but don't forget your basics. Ensure your daily diet has enough protein, iron, and biotin, and keep working out regularly to support the therapy's success.

It helps improve blood circulation in the scalp, which promotes hair growth. Along with PRP, keeping up with regular physical exercise like brisk walking or jogging also boosts overall blood flow, which is great for your hair follicles.

Yes, many people find PRP very helpful for thinning hair. Don't worry too much, just talk to a dermatologist to see if you are a good candidate for it.

I looked into PRP, but honestly, between my toddler keeping me up all night and work, I don't even have time to brush my hair, let alone get needles stuck in my scalp! But jokes aside, my friend got it done and her hair looks super voluminous now.

PRP works really well for hair thinning, haan na. My sister got it done in Pune and her hair density improved so much. It is a bit costly, but if you go to a good clinic, you will definitely see results.

It can work, but remember that your inner health matters just as much as external treatments. Just like how I manage my blood pressure with diet and checkups, you need to fix your nutritional deficiencies and stress levels first for PRP to actually work.

PRP is quite effective for androgenetic alopecia and early-stage hair thinning. However, you usually need multiple sessions followed by maintenance treatments every few months. Make sure you get it done by a qualified dermatologist, not a random salon.

My college-going daughter was suffering from severe hair loss due to stress, and we opted for PRP on our doctor's advice. It helped her hair recover nicely within four months. Just make sure they maintain proper hygiene at the clinic.
