Does pink himalayan salt help with weight loss?

My friend told me to switch to pink Himalayan salt, claiming it helps with weight loss. Is this true, na? Does pink Himalayan salt really help in shedding kilos?

Nahi yaar, pink salt se koi weight loss nahi hota. Haan, isme thode minerals extra hote hain compared to normal white salt, but calories toh isme bhi zero hi hain na. Weight loss ke liye toh portion control aur walking hi kaam aayegi.

Listen, don't stress too much about which salt you are using! Pink salt looks pretty in the jar, but it won't melt your fat away. Just enjoy your home-cooked meals, cut down on junk food, and you'll do great. No need to buy expensive stuff!

At the end of the day, pink salt is still sodium chloride, just like normal salt. If you have diabetes or high BP, you still need to limit your total salt intake strictly. Do not consume extra pink salt thinking it is a weight loss therapy, please consult your physician.

Agree, it does not help with weight loss. Cutting down on fried foods and sugary drinks is what actually makes a difference.

I fell for this hype too and replaced all my kitchen salt with the expensive pink version. Honestly, there was absolutely no change in my weight until I started tracking my daily meals and going for runs. It's just a marketing trend, don't worry too much about switching.

It doesn't directly help with weight loss, but some people find it less processing-heavy. Focus on balanced meals and daily light walks, that usually works best and is gentle on the body. Take care.
