Does peeing right after sex reduce chances of pregnancy?

A neighbour told me that peeing immediately after sex can reduce the chances of getting pregnant. I'm a bit worried and want to know if this is a reliable method or not. What's the truth behind this claim?

Nope, it doesn't work that way! Peeing is great to prevent UTIs, but it won't wash away a potential pregnancy. You need real contraceptives for that.

I have heard many such myths over the years, but this is biologically impossible. Peeing only cleans the external urinary opening, it cannot stop sperm which goes inside. Always use real protection.

Just like skipping gym won't help you build muscle, peeing won't help prevent pregnancy. It is basic human anatomy. Use proper protection if you are active.

I was researching this biology topic recently. Because the urethra and the vagina are two different channels, peeing won't flush out anything from where conception happens. Totally a myth!
