Does pantothenic acid cause hair loss?

I started taking pantothenic acid supplements recently for my skin. However, I've also noticed my hair fall increasing since then. Could pantothenic acid supplements be a reason for hair loss?

Actually, pantothenic acid is just Vitamin B5, which is super good for your hair and skin! 🌟 It usually helps *prevent* hair loss rather than causing it. But if you take extremely high doses, it might cause some imbalance, so always take care! 👍

I don't know where people get these ideas that Vitamin B5 causes hair fall. There is absolutely no solid scientific proof for this online rumor. If you are experiencing hair loss, go to a qualified dermatologist and get diagnosed instead of self-treating based on internet myths.

Haan na, even I was confused about this, but actually B5 is put in many hair serums to make them strong. It should not cause hair loss unless you are taking some very high dose supplements without checking. Doctor se puch ke hi supplements shuru kiya karo.

Bhai, ye toh ek tarah ka vitamin hi hai jo baalo ko mazboot banata hai. Isse baal nahi jhadte hain. Agar baal jhad rahe hain toh shayad sharir mein garmi ya kisi aur cheez ki kami hai, acche doctor ko dikha lijiye.

Pantothenic acid is Vitamin B5, which is essential for hair growth, not hair loss. If you are losing hair while taking it, the cause is likely stress, genetics, or some other deficiency. Stop guessing, get a blood panel done, and see a specialist.

No, it actually supports hair health as it is a B-complex vitamin. Sometimes other underlying factors like stress can cause shedding. Try to stay relaxed and consult a doctor if the hair fall continues.
