Does orencia cause hair loss?

I've been on Orencia for my rheumatoid arthritis for some time now. Lately, I've noticed my hair thinning quite a bit, and I'm worried it might be related to the medication. Does Orencia cause hair loss?

While my elders always recommend hair oils for thinning, with advanced medicines like Orencia, we must trust the specialist. Hair loss is listed as a rare side effect, but it is best to discuss this clearly with your rheumatologist.

My son has been on Orencia for his arthritis. We were so worried about side effects like hair loss, but thankfully his hair has been completely fine. Just keep a close eye and ensure they get proper nutrition.

Actually yaar, hair thinning can happen with these heavy medications, but it doesn't happen to everyone. I read that it's quite uncommon with Orencia compared to other immunosuppressants. Check with your doc to be sure.

Sometimes medications put stress on the body which leads to hair shedding. I always suggest focusing on a protein-rich vegetarian diet with almonds, seeds, and leafy greens to support hair root strength during any treatment.

I know how terrifying it is to think about losing your hair while already dealing with a chronic illness. It makes you feel so vulnerable. Try to take things one day at a time, hair loss with Orencia is actually quite rare.
