Does ogx cause hair loss?

I've been using OGX shampoos for a while now, as they're quite popular. But lately, I've noticed my hair falling out more than usual. Some reviews online mention a link to hair loss. Can using OGX products actually cause hair to fall out?

Dekho, direct bolu toh physical health and scalp chemistry matters. OGX might not suit everyone and cause buildup, but straight up blaming it without checking your diet is wrong. Stop using it for two weeks and see if the fall stops, simple as that.

I also tried their argan oil shampoo thinking it would solve my dryness, but my hairfall actually increased a lot. Honestly, switching to simple home hair packs like curd and methi seeds helped calm my scalp down. Sometimes these heavy chemical brands are just too harsh for our Indian hair types.

My college-going daughter brought this bottle home and after three weeks her hair started shedding like crazy. I immediately made her stop using it and gave her a gentle herbal shampoo instead. Please don't risk your hair health for these expensive trends, watch your child's scalp carefully.

With my PCOS, my hair is already very prone to thinning, so I tried OGX hoping it would give some volume. Unfortunately, it made my scalp super greasy and increased the shedding. I can't say if it causes hair loss for everyone, but if you have underlying hormonal issues, please be extra careful with these heavy products.

I totally get it, seeing your hair in the bathroom drain after a wash is so stressful. I faced the exact same issue when I used their coconut milk range last year. Just take a deep breath, stop using it for a while, and let your hair recover naturally.

Yaar, I used their biotin one and my hair felt like straw, actually. I had crazy hair fall for two months until I realized it was the shampoo buildup. Just switch to some mild baby shampoo for a bit and see if it makes a difference, worked for me.

Honestly, the brand had a class-action lawsuit in the US regarding some ingredients causing hair loss. I threw my bottle out the day I read about it. There are much better, safer clinical brands available in India now, so don't waste your money on this.

My mother always tells me to stick to shikakai and coconut oil, but I still bought OGX because of the fancy packaging. It really did not suit my scalp and caused a lot of thinning. When I finally went to a dermatologist, she explained that strong sulfate-free alternatives sometimes leave too much residue on thick hair.

With my busy schedule, I don't have time for complex hair care routines, so I tried OGX for a quick fix. It gave me terrible dandruff and itchiness which led to hair fall. If you don't have time to research, just use a basic dermatologically tested daily shampoo.

There was some controversy online about some of their ingredients causing hair thinning a while back. But hair loss is highly individual and depends on your thyroid levels, iron, and stress too. It is always better to consult a dermatologist who can analyze your scalp rather than guessing based on internet reviews.
