Does nicotine cause hair loss?

I've heard that smoking can lead to hair loss, but I was wondering if it's the nicotine specifically that causes it. I've been using nicotine pouches lately, so I'm a bit concerned.

Nicotine restricts blood flow to hair follicles, causing them to shrink and fall out. If you are serious about saving your hairline, stop smoking immediately. No hair serum will work if nicotine is blocking the blood flow.

I had massive hair thinning last year while smoking a pack a day. Within three months of quitting nicotine, I saw tiny baby hairs growing back. The damage is real but luckily reversible.

Losing hair is so painful and stressful, it completely ruined my self-confidence. When I realized my passive vaping was the cause, I felt so guilty. You are not alone, just take steps to stop.

Nicotine causes oxidative stress in the body which damages hair cells. Combine quitting with a high-protein diet and regular scalp blood flow exercises like headstands or massage to recover.

Bro, my hair was falling like crazy when I was vaping daily. I stopped it completely, started drinking more water, and the hair fall reduced by 80%. Just dump the vape.
