Naltrexone actually doesn't cause weight gain; in fact, it is often used in combination for weight loss because it reduces food cravings. As a diabetic, I still suggest keeping your sugar and simple carb intake in check. Don't rely solely on medication to manage weight.

I totally panicked when I was prescribed this, thinking I would balloon up in a month. But after talking to my doctor and using it, my weight has actually remained completely stable. It is totally normal to feel anxious, but you have nothing to worry about here.

Agree, it doesn't cause weight gain. In fact, many people notice their appetite goes down while taking it.

I have been taking low-dose naltrexone and it has actually helped reduce my emotional eating. Weight gain is not a common side effect of this drug. Just stick to your daily routine, keep active, and you should be absolutely fine.

Beta, don't worry about gaining weight from this medicine. It is a good treatment, just keep eating your simple home-cooked meals and go for a walk in the temple park daily. Health will be fine.
