Does myo inositol cause weight gain?

My doctor recommended Myo-inositol for my PCOS, and I've read about its benefits for hormonal balance. However, I'm worried about potential side effects like weight changes. Does Myo-inositol typically lead to weight gain?

From what I have learned during my BP checkups, Myo-Inositol actually helps with insulin levels and doesn't usually cause weight gain. In fact, it often helps manage weight. Always consult your doctor before starting any supplement.

Myo-Inositol is usually taken to improve insulin sensitivity, which actually supports healthy weight management rather than causing gain. Focus on a balanced vegetarian diet with high fiber to get the best results. Consult your dietitian for a proper plan.

I can only speak from my own experience. I have been taking Myo-Inositol for my hormonal balance for three months, and I haven't noticed any weight gain at all. My weight has actually remained quite stable.

Well, looking at water and gaining weight is my specialty, but Myo-Inositol is one thing that shouldn't do that to you! It is meant to help your metabolism, not slow it down. But check with your doctor to be safe.

My sister takes Myo-Inositol for her PCOS, and she actually lost a bit of weight after starting it, alongside her workouts. It definitely doesn't cause weight gain. Just make sure you get the dosage right from your doc.
