Does minoxidil stop hair loss?

I've been noticing a lot of hair fall lately, especially from the front. Someone suggested trying minoxidil, but I'm not sure if it actually stops hair loss or just slows it down temporarily. What's the real deal with it?

Yes, it definitely helped control my hair fall, but you have to be very regular with it. It took about 3-4 months for me to see a noticeable change. Also, remember that once you stop using it, the hair loss might start again.

Along with applying minoxidil as suggested by my doctor, I found that daily head massages and keeping active really helped scalp blood flow. Just 30 minutes of brisk walking daily does wonders for your overall circulation, which is great for hair too.

In my experience, minoxidil worked quite well to reduce the thinning on my crown. I didn't face any side effects, but my friend had some scalp irritation. Everyone's skin reacts differently to it.

The senior dermatologist at Fortis told me that minoxidil is very effective for genetic hair loss, but we must use the correct percentage. I highly recommend consulting a specialist to get the right dosage for your scalp type.

Look, it is not a magic lotion that works overnight. It stops hair fall only as long as you apply it daily. If you are lazy and skip days, don't expect any results. Be disciplined with it.

It can help, but first find out why you are losing hair. Sometimes it is due to thyroid or vitamin deficiencies, and minoxidil alone won't solve that. Better to get a full blood panel done first.

Minoxidil works, but you can't just eat chole bhature every day and expect great hair! I had to add some eggs and green veggies to my diet along with the treatment. Good nutrition makes the hair roots strong from inside.
