Does melanoma cause hair loss?

My mother recently got a diagnosis and has been worried about hair thinning. Someone at home mentioned this condition can cause hair loss, and now she's quite scared. Just trying to understand if there's a link.

Hey! Usually melanoma doesn't cause hair loss directly 🌸 It is a skin issue, not something that targets your hair roots. But if there's any treatment going on, that might affect things. Best to ask your doc to be absolutely sure! 👍

Haan, skin cancer se directly hair loss nahi hota. Melanoma skin cells pe affect karta hai, hair follicles pe nahi. Agar treatment chal rahi hai to side effects ho sakte hain na. Doctor se check karwa lo ek baar.

Hey, please don't get too worried about this. Melanoma is basically a skin issue and doesn't cause your hair to fall out. If you are experiencing sudden hair loss, it might be due to stress or some nutritional deficiency. Let's get it checked by a general physician first.

Not really, bro. Melanoma is skin-related, so it won't impact your hair directly. Usually hair loss happens due to extreme stress, heavy calorie deficits, or hormonal changes. Focus on good sleep and protein, and see a dermatologist if you suspect anything skin-related.

Melanoma se directly hair fall nahi hota, haan na. It is a skin issue only. If scalp pe exact spot hai toh maybe thoda change ho sakta hai, but general hair loss is very rare. Doctor se pooch lo, confusion clear ho jayega.

Listen, don't stress too much about this! Melanoma has nothing to do with losing hair. If you are seeing a lot of hair on your brush, it is probably just monsoon weather, water change, or daily tension. Relax and just show a skin specialist if you have any weird moles.

I was actually researching this last month for my uncle. Melanoma itself doesn't cause hair fall at all, unless there's a lesion directly on the scalp where hair grows. If you are noticing hair thinning, it could just be stress or scalp health. Definitely consult a doc for peace of mind.
