Does marijuana cause hair loss?

I've started noticing my hair thinning out a bit, and I'm trying to figure out why. I occasionally smoke marijuana, and I'm wondering if there's any connection between its use and hair loss. Can it be a contributing factor?

Yes, I have seen this topic come up quite often here. Regular use can sometimes disrupt your sleep cycle and appetite, which indirectly leads to poor nutrition and hair fall. Focus on eating amla and protein, and try to reduce these habits.

Before you spend thousands on expensive hair oils and shampoos, check if you have any vitamin deficiencies. A basic blood test costs only about 600-800 rupees. Stop the smoking habit first, get tested, and then plan your hair treatment practically.

I had severe hormonal imbalance and hair loss issues earlier, and continuing these habits made it much worse. Please don't ignore it if you are losing clumps of hair. Go visit a dermatologist to get a proper diagnosis.

Hair loss can happen due to many internal issues like thyroid, stress, or scalp infections. It is best not to guess if it is because of marijuana or something else. Please get a proper checkup done by a doctor to know the exact cause.

Honestly, yes, it ruined my hair. I was smoking up daily and my hair started falling like crazy within six months. As soon as I stopped and started taking proper zinc and multi-vitamins, the hair fall finally stopped.

I am actually facing major hair thinning since last few months and I suspect this might be the reason. Has anyone else also experienced sudden scalp dryness and hair fall after regular smoking? I am really worried about this now.
