Does lybalvi cause weight gain?

My psychiatrist recently started me on Lybalvi for my condition. I'm a bit worried about gaining weight as I've struggled with my weight for quite some time now. Has anyone experienced significant weight gain after taking this medicine?

Lybalvi does list weight change as a known side effect in its clinical profile. Everyone's body reacts differently to psychiatric medication, so there's no fixed rule. It's best to consult your psychiatrist before changing anything, as they can monitor your metabolic parameters safely.

Haan na, weight gain issue is actually quite common with such psychiatric meds. My cousin was on something similar and faced the same problem. You should definitely discuss this with your doctor so they can adjust the dosage or suggest some diet tips.

Oh, absolutely! It makes your appetite go wild like you're at a wedding buffet 24/7. Just keep a close watch on your snack drawer and hide the biscuits. Jokes aside, talk to your doc, they can easily help you manage this.

Honestly, at this age, even breathing seems to add kilos, and these heavy medications just make it worse. My doctor warned me about weight gain when I was on similar pills last year. Just talk to your doctor and don't take stress about the scale right now.

Beta, strong medicines can upset the body's natural balance and increase appetite. Along with your doctor's advice, try to drink warm water in the morning and eat fresh, home-cooked food. Avoid heavy, oily snacks if you feel hungry between meals.
