Does low vitamin'd cause joint pain?

My knees and other joints have started aching quite a bit recently, especially in the mornings. My daughter said that low Vitamin D could be the reason for such pains. Is there a link between low Vitamin D and joint pain?

Yes, Vitamin D is essential for calcium absorption, so its deficiency directly causes joint and bone pain. The simplest and cheapest solution is to stand in the morning sunlight for 15 minutes daily. Along with this, just get your levels checked and ask your doctor for a monthly supplement.

Don't worry too much about this. Almost everyone in India has low Vitamin D these days because of our indoor lifestyle, and it causes very real joint aches. Just get a simple blood test done, show it to your doctor, and take your supplements. You will feel much better soon.

I was just reading that more than 70% of urban Indians suffer from Vitamin D deficiency, which often explains why so many of us have chronic knee and back pain. It is actually quite crazy how much a single vitamin deficiency can impact our joints. I think I need to test mine too.

My knees used to make clicking sounds and ache a lot when climbing stairs last year. My reports showed my Vitamin D was extremely low. Once I completed the weekly supplement course my doctor gave me, the pain went away completely. That was just my personal experience.

I've been feeling these weird aches in my fingers and knees for a month and I am so worried that it might be arthritis or something serious. I keep googling symptoms and getting scared. If anyone else had this and got better with Vitamin D, please let me know to help calm my mind.

Haan yaar, low Vitamin D ki wajah se joints mein hamesha halka dukhna laga rehta hai. Hamein lagta hai cold ho gaya ya thakawat hai, par asli reason deficiency hoti hai. Ek baar test karwa lo na, simple treatment se theek ho jata hai.
