Does low dose aspirin cause liver damage?

My doctor prescribed low-dose aspirin for me years ago to help prevent heart issues, and I've been taking it regularly. My neighbour recently mentioned that some medications can harm the liver over time. I'm worried now, does low-dose aspirin cause liver damage with long-term use?

Aspirin in very low doses is generally safe and prescribed to protect the heart. To keep your body's natural filtering systems healthy, practice simple breathing exercises and drink warm water. Always take it as your doctor guided.

Don't worry, a low-dose aspirin is not going to melt your liver overnight! It is usually just 75mg or 150mg, which is very mild. But yes, don't wash it down with a glass of whiskey, that's a bad idea for your liver anyway!

My doctor put me on low-dose aspirin after my heart checkup. He told me liver damage is extremely rare at this low dose, but we still do a routine liver function test (LFT) once a year just to be 100% sure. You can do the same for peace of mind.

Honestly, my liver has survived college parties and night-shift coffee abuse, so a tiny baby aspirin is the least of my worries. But seriously, at low doses, it's very safe. Just don't self-medicate and you'll be fine.

Look, doctors don't prescribe aspirin for fun, they do it to prevent blood clots. At 75mg, it rarely affects the liver. Stop reading random horror stories on the internet and just trust your physician's prescription.

I once ignored stomach discomfort while taking regular pain killers and ended up with severe issues. Even with low-dose aspirin, if you feel any persistent nausea, yellowing of eyes, or dark urine, go get a checkup immediately. Don't ignore it.

Haan, low dose aspirin se liver damage bilkul nahi hota hai generally. Yeh toh heart protection ke liye dete hain na. Agar koi doubt hai toh doctor se baat karke annual blood test kara lo, tension khatam.
