Does laser hair treatment work for hair loss?

Experiencing significant hair loss recently, it's starting to bother me a lot. I've seen some advertisements for 'laser hair treatment' to promote hair growth. Do these laser treatments actually work to reduce hair loss and help new hair grow back?

I tried LLLT (low-level laser therapy) cap for my receding hairline for six months. Honestly, it didn't grow back a full head of hair, but it definitely stopped my heavy hair fall and made the existing hair feel a bit thicker. It works, but don't expect miracles.

I always prefer natural solutions like curry leaves oil and amla for hair health, but laser treatments can help stimulate the scalp. However, if your hair is falling out in large clumps suddenly or you have itchy scalp patches, please consult a proper doctor. Don't rely on expensive salon therapies without knowing the root cause.

I had terrible hair thinning after recovering from severe fever last year. My dermatologist recommended laser combs alongside multivitamins and it really helped stimulate new growth in three months. The patches are finally filling up, so I would say it does work for mild thinning.

Look, laser therapy only works if your hair roots are still alive; it won't grow hair on a completely bald patch. Don't waste lakhs on clinics promising magic. Get a proper diagnosis from a good dermatologist first to see if your type of hair loss actually responds to laser.

I totally get it, losing hair can really affect your confidence and make you feel so helpless. Laser therapy has helped many people revive dormant follicles, so it might be worth a shot. Just remember to be patient with yourself during this process.
