Does laser hair removal work on face with pcos?

Because of my PCOS, I struggle a lot with unwanted facial hair, and it's quite distressing. I'm considering laser hair removal, but I'm not sure if it's effective specifically for facial hair, especially when PCOS is involved. Will laser hair removal really work on my face given my PCOS?

My 21-year-old daughter has PCOS and was struggling with very thick chin hair that made her self-conscious. We got her laser treatment done at a proper clinic. It didn't stop the growth completely, but the hair is now very thin and soft, which has really boosted her confidence. Just make sure to consult a good skin specialist first.

Let's be realistic: laser on the face with PCOS is not a permanent cure because of your internal hormonal triggers. It will significantly reduce the hair density and slow down growth, but you will need maintenance sessions once or twice a year. Keep your gynecologist in the loop.

Yes, it really helps to manage facial hair if you have PCOS. It might take a few more sessions than usual, but the reduction in thickness is definitely worth it. I hope it brings you some relief.

I was so terrified of getting burns or worsening the hair growth on my face that I read a hundred articles before booking my first session. It turns out, if you go to a certified dermatologist who uses the right settings, it is very safe and helpful. Just take a deep breath, it really does help with PCOS hair.

Haan, bilkul kaam karta hai! My sister had thick sideburns due to PCOS and laser completely changed her face, na. You just have to be regular with your sessions and don't skip them mid-way, otherwise the hormones will bring the growth back.

It works well, but as a healthcare worker, I always tell people that laser is only half the battle. If your testosterone levels are high, new follicles will keep activating. You must manage your PCOS medically with your doctor while doing laser sessions for the best cosmetic results.

Honestly, laser on my face was a life saver because I was too tired and lazy to keep threading my chin every four days. It takes forever to see complete results when your hormones are acting up, but at least I don't look like I have a shadow anymore. Just go for it and save yourself the weekly pain.
