Does lack of sex cause weight gain?

My wife has been away for a few months for work, and I've noticed I've put on some kilos. Someone joked that it might be because I'm not, you know, 'active' anymore. Is there actually any truth to this, ki sex na hone se weight badhta hai?

I totally get it, when we are feeling disconnected or single, we start worrying if our physical changes are linked to it. But honestly, lack of intimacy doesn't physically make you put on weight. It might just be stress or lifestyle changes that are happening alongside.

There is no direct medical connection between the two. When I had some weight concerns, I went to a proper hospital and the doctors explained that stress and poor sleep were the real causes. It is always better to get a professional medical opinion instead of guessing.

No, it doesn't cause weight gain directly. But sometimes, when we are lonely or stressed, we start overeating sweets or junk food at home. Try drinking warm chamomile tea or doing light walking to manage stress instead of emotional eating.

I went through a dry spell and noticed some weight gain, but let's be real, it was because I stopped going to the gym and was drinking too much beer. Intimacy burns a few calories, sure, but your diet and overall activity levels are what actually dictate your weight.

Listen, don't worry about this at all. There is absolutely no biological reason why lack of sex would make you gain weight. Just focus on taking care of your body, eating well, and getting some good sleep. You are doing just fine.

Haha, if that were the case, most college students and single people would be twice their size! Don't worry, the extra weight is probably just from those late-night Swiggy orders, not your relationship status.

Hey, don't stress too much about this! Your body weight is mostly about your calories in and calories out. Lack of sex might make you feel a bit low sometimes, but it won't directly make you gain fat. Go enjoy a nice walk and relax!

Honestly, I'm too tired from working late nights to even think about sex or working out, and that's why my weight is going up! It's the lack of sleep and too much caffeine, not the lack of action in the bedroom.
