Does kratom cause hair loss?

I've been hearing about kratom being used for various things, but I'm also seeing some scary side effects mentioned online. My hair fall has increased recently. Does kratom cause hair loss, I'm quite concerned about this?

If you love your hair more than that weird green powder, just drop it! No point in having a calm mind if you end up bald. Your hair will definitely thank you for quitting.

It can cause hair thinning due to hormonal changes and stress on the body. Along with stopping it, apply fresh curry leaf paste with coconut oil on your scalp. Eating a handful of soaked almonds daily will also help rebuild your hair strength.

Kratom contains immunostimulating alkaloids that can trigger telogen effluvium or temporary hair shedding. Since hair loss can also be linked to thyroid or iron deficiency, consulting a dermatologist is the best way forward.

My trichologist explicitly told me that kratom causes severe oxidative stress on hair follicles and disrupts normal growth cycles. He advised that stopping the substance completely and starting multivitamin supplements is necessary to restart hair growth.

Listen to me, don't sacrifice your hair or health for any temporary relief. This shedding usually stops once you clean your system. Drink lots of water, eat fresh home food, and stop taking these unregulated herbs.

I noticed crazy hair fall when my partner was using kratom, and it was so scary to see hair everywhere. Once he quit, the shedding stopped and his hair slowly grew back. Just stop using it and focus on a clean scalp routine.

I went to Kokilaben Hospital for my sudden hair thinning last year. The specialist clearly asked me to stop all unverified herbal supplements first. You should ask your doctor clearly about the ingredients in what you are taking.

Hair loss can sometimes be a sign of deeper liver toxicity or thyroid issues caused by these supplements. Please get a complete blood panel and liver profile checked just to be safe. Don't ignore it.
