Does kesimpta cause weight gain?

I've been on Kesimpta for my MS for about six months now. I've noticed my clothes getting tighter and the scale going up. Does Kesimpta typically cause weight gain in patients?

For medications like Kesimpta, weight changes are not very common but can happen due to reduced physical activity. Try to keep a daily log of what you eat and do light stretching at home if your health permits. If the weight continues to increase, discuss it with your neurologist in your next visit.

Weight gain is not a common side effect of Kesimpta, but individual reactions can vary. You should check with your doctor to rule out other factors.

I totally understand how stressful it is to manage treatment and worry about weight too. I didn't face weight issues with Kesimpta, but I made sure to walk for 20 minutes daily to keep my metabolism going. Just take it easy and let your doctor know if you feel bloated or heavy.

I have interacted with many people in our support group who are on Kesimpta. Most of them have not reported weight gain as a direct side effect, though fatigue can sometimes limit physical activity leading to slight weight changes. Always share these changes with your medical team to be absolutely sure.

Since I already have blood pressure issues, I have to be very careful with any medication-related weight gain. While Kesimpta usually doesn't cause weight gain, sudden changes can impact your overall cardiovascular health. Make sure you get your regular checkups and discuss any weight fluctuations with your physician.

Hey man, I've been on Kesimpta for about six months now. I haven't noticed any weight gain at all, but I do feel a bit fatigued on injection days which makes me lazy. Just keep an eye on your diet and talk to your neurologist if you feel things are off.

Haan, thoda weight change toh feel ho sakta hai par directly medicine se hai ya humare lifestyle se, kehna mushkil hai na. MS medications ke sath thoda hormonal shift bhi hota hai. Ek baar apne doctor se zarur baat kar lo safety ke liye.
