Do not worry and keep your mind peaceful during recovery. An IV drip only provides hydration and essential nutrients to help your body heal, it does not build body fat. Trust the process, take deep breaths, and let your body regain its natural strength.

I totally get it, seeing the scale go up after a hospital stay can be so confusing and stressful. It is actually just temporary water weight because of the saline fluids pumped into your body. Give it a few days and your body will naturally flush out the excess fluid.

Having thyroid issues myself, I know how easily our body holds onto water weight. After I had an IV drip during an illness, I felt very heavy, but it was just fluid retention. If your weight doesn't settle down in a week, do consult your doctor and maybe check your thyroid levels to be sure.

Hey there! Don't worry at all, an IV drip doesn't cause real weight gain. It is just saline or glucose water that might make you look slightly bloated for 1-2 days. It all goes away once you start moving around and visiting the washroom normally!

Haan yaar, saline chadhne ke baad thoda body phool jati hai, par woh fat nahi hota na. It's just temporary water accumulation. Ek-do din mein sab normal ho jata hai jab body extra fluid flush out kar deti hai, so tension mat lo bilkul.
