Does it matter when u take a pregnancy test?

My husband and I are trying for a baby, and my period is a few days late. Is there a specific time when it's best to take a pregnancy test?

If you do it too early, you'll just end up buying ten more kits because of faint lines! Best is to wait at least a day or two after your missed period. And do it in the morning, unless you want to spend the whole day analyzing blurry lines.

Yes, timing is key. Testing too early before your missed period can easily give a false negative because the hormone levels are too low. Wait for the day of your missed period and use the first morning urine for a definitive result.

I highly recommend using a period tracking app to check your exact ovulation days. Testing 14 days after ovulation or on the first day of your missed period is ideal. Using the first morning urine ensures the highest concentration of the hCG hormone.

Please try to wait until you actually miss your period, even though the wait is absolutely agonizing! I tested four days early and got a negative, which made me cry, only for it to turn positive later. Save yourself the heartbreak and test in the morning.

Haan na, timing bahut matter karti hai. Early morning ka urine sabse best hota hai test karne ke liye. Agar din mein thoda late kiya toh water intake ki vajah se report galat aa sakti hai.

Since hormonal imbalances like thyroid can delay your periods anyway, don't rush to test immediately. Wait for a week after your missed date. If the test is negative but period is still delayed, get a beta-hCG blood test done at a lab and consult your doctor.
