Does hypnosis work for weight loss?

I'm really struggling to shed these extra kilos, and someone mentioned hypnosis as a way to help with food cravings. Has anyone here tried it? Does hypnosis actually work for weight loss?

It might help some people to control their sweet cravings, but it is not a direct way to lose weight. Please take care and try to focus on healthy eating habits.

Instead of hypnosis, try natural methods like drinking warm lemon water in the morning and eating light dinners. But if you have sudden weight gain, please see a doctor to check for thyroid or other health issues.

I don't think hypnosis can replace physical effort. If your doctor allows, start with 30 minutes of brisk walking daily and a clean diet. That is the only proven way to lose weight.

I tried hypnosis last year out of desperation because my weight was stuck. Honestly, it was just a waste of money. What actually worked was fixing my diet and doing weight training thrice a week.

I also panicked when my weight wouldn't budge and started looking into hypnosis and weird therapies. Later, I realized it was just a slow metabolism. I started eating balanced meals and the weight came off slowly, so relax.
