Does hormonal changes cause weight gain?

I've noticed I've been putting on weight quite easily lately, especially around my mid-section, even though my diet hasn't changed much. My periods have also become irregular. Can hormonal changes in the body cause unexplained weight gain?

Hormones can slow down your metabolism, making it easier to pack on kilos. I focus on a clean vegetarian diet with high fiber, paneer, sprouts, and zero refined sugar to keep insulin levels stable. Eating mindfully can help manage these hormonal shifts.

Yes, hormonal changes like high cortisol, thyroid issues, or PCOS can definitely cause weight gain. I always recommend getting a complete blood panel and thyroid test done first. It is very important to consult an endocrinologist to rule out any clinical issues safely.

Yes, it is very common for hormones to affect our weight, especially during stressful phases or menopause. Please don't worry too much about it. Take care of your health and rest well.

Haan, hamare sharir mein badlav hone se vajan thoda badh jata hai, khaskar umar ke sath. Hum toh kehte hain ghar ka shuddh khana khao aur thoda subah sham ghumo. Tension mat lo, dheere dheere sab theek ho jayega.

Eating warm, home-cooked food with ginger and methi seeds can help digestion and hormone balance. But if you are gaining weight very rapidly or feeling extremely tired all day, please visit a doctor. Sometimes we need proper medicine along with home remedies.
