Does high igf 1 cause weight gain?

My recent health report showed high levels of something called IGF-1. I've also been struggling with unexpected weight gain. Is there any link, and does high IGF-1 cause weight gain?

If hormone levels are a bit off, weight issues can happen. Instead of buying expensive health foods, try focusing on simple things like eating dinner early and avoiding sugar. A basic walking routine works wonders without costing anything.

Insulin-like growth factor changes can definitely affect how your body stores fat. If your endocrinologist has cleared you for physical activity, try adding 30-40 minutes of brisk walking or light strength training to your daily routine. It helps balance things out.

Dekho, hormone reports can look confusing, but don't sit and stress about it because stress will gain you more weight. Go straight to a good physician and get it sorted out. In the meantime, stop eating junk food.

At my age, even looking at a gulab jamun seems to cause weight gain, haha! If these scientific markers like IGF-1 are fluctuating, it gets even trickier. Better to let a specialist handle the medical side while we try to eat less.

I am just reading about this hormone for the first time. Does it also cause mood swings along with weight issues? If anyone has faced this, please let me know.

I had some hormonal imbalances during college and my weight was fluctuating crazy. Once the doctor identified the issue and gave the right guidance, it became much easier to manage. Definitely get your blood work done.
