Does herbal essence cause hair loss?

I've been noticing a lot of hair fall lately, more than usual. I recently switched to Herbal Essences shampoo. Could this shampoo be a reason for my hair loss, or is it unrelated?

Sometimes changing chemical shampoos can irritate the scalp and cause hair fall. I noticed my hair quality improved when I controlled my stress and blood pressure with regular doctor visits instead of just switching products.

I used their shampoo last week and noticed so much hair in the drain! Has anyone else faced sudden hair fall after using it? I am so scared to wash my hair now.

Hair loss can happen due to internal issues like iron deficiency or thyroid, not just a shampoo. Don't trust random internet panic; go see a proper dermatologist to find the real cause.

I know how stressful it is to see hair falling out, it literally kept me awake at night. Shampoos react differently to every scalp type, so if it is causing irritation, just stop using it immediately.

Different scalp types react to different formulations, especially if they have strong fragrances. If you feel it's not suiting you, switch to a mild, baby shampoo or a dermatologically tested one.

Many of these commercial shampoos have too many chemicals. I always prefer washing my hair with reetha and shikakai powder once a week, it is much gentler on the roots.

I had terrible hair fall when I used one of their herbal variants. My hair stopped shedding almost immediately after I switched back to my regular gentle shampoo. Better to change it.
