Does hair oil help with dandruff?

I've been having quite a bit of dandruff lately, especially with this changing weather. My grandmother always swears by oiling for everything, so I was thinking of trying it for my scalp. Will hair oil actually help reduce my dandruff, ya?

I used to think oiling was the cure for all scalp issues, but my doctor told me stress and blood pressure can also affect skin health. Dandruff is often fungal, and heavy oils can sometimes feed that fungus. It is better to get a proper checkup and manage your lifestyle rather than just relying on oils.

Honestly, what you put inside your body matters more than what you apply on your head. Dandruff can worsen if you eat too much sugar or fried foods. While some oils like tea tree might help a bit, focusing on a clean, nutrient-rich vegetarian diet is the real long-term solution.

I love my spicy chole bhature, but my scalp hates it and starts flaking! Applying heavy coconut oil honestly just made my head super sticky and greasy instead of curing the dandruff. A light anti-dandruff shampoo works much better for me.

Between working night shifts and sleeping for barely four hours, my scalp is a total mess. I tried oiling it to fix the dandruff, but I just ended up looking like a shiny frying pan at 3 AM with the same amount of flakes. Better to just wash it properly and get some sleep.

Beta, if your scalp is very dry, then a little warm oil can give some relief from the itching. But if you have sticky dandruff, then oil will only make it stick more to your head. Wash your hair with warm water and use lemon juice sometimes, it is very good.
