Does hair loss from alopecia grow back?

I was recently diagnosed with alopecia areata, and I'm very disheartened by the patches of hair loss. My doctor said it *might* grow back. Does hair loss caused by alopecia typically grow back, or is it usually permanent?

Yes, hair can grow back, especially in cases of alopecia areata, but it depends on the type and treatment.

My scalp had a tiny crop circle last year because of alopecia! But don't worry, the hair decided to return after some rest. It's usually temporary, so don't lose sleep over it.

My close friend had small bald patches due to alopecia areata last year. She was so worried, but after she got steroid spot treatments from her doctor, her hair grew back completely in those areas.

Yes, it absolutely can grow back! Many times the patches fill up naturally or with simple medical help. Keep your spirits high and stay positive.

In many cases, the hair follicles are just dormant and can recover. Reducing mental stress through deep breathing and keeping a calm mind can help your body heal and stimulate natural regrowth.

I had a coin-sized bald patch on the back of my head. It took about six months and some prescription lotions from my dermatologist, but it did grow back completely. Just get it checked by a doc.
