Does hair gel make your hair fall out?

All my friends use hair gel, and I just started using it too. My chachi warned me that hair gel can make your hair fall out and cause baldness. Should I be worried that using hair gel will make my hair fall out?

Yes, daily use of chemical gels can dry the scalp and weaken the roots. Try switching to water-based products and wash them out thoroughly before sleeping.

Bro, don't stress too much about it. Just limit using it to special occasions instead of daily wear, and wash your hair properly. Your hair will be absolutely fine!

While gel itself doesn't directly cause genetic hair loss, the buildup can clog follicles and cause breakage. If you're seeing significant shedding, it is best to consult a dermatologist to understand the root cause.

The doctors at Max Hospital explicitly told me that styling gels dry out the hair shaft, making it prone to snapping. If you want to use it, make sure it is alcohol-free, or consult a specialist if hair fall is already severe.

My health tracker showed a correlation between my scalp irritation and days I used heavy styling products. The chemicals really mess with the scalp's natural pH. Keep it simple and wash it off on the same day.

In my experience, using hard gels made my hair very brittle and dry, and I noticed more hair on my comb. I stopped using gel completely and switched to simple coconut oil, and the breakage stopped for me.

Replacing expensive styling gels with a simple natural oil is much cheaper anyway. Plus, if you end up with severe hair fall, those clinical hair treatments and dermatologist fees will cost you a bomb. Better to avoid gel daily.
