Does hair colour cause hair fall?

Every time I get my hair colored at the salon, I feel like I lose more hair for a few days afterward. I'm worried it's damaging my hair. Does hair colour actually cause hair fall, or am I just imagining it?

Actually yaar, my hair fall started after I bleached and colored my hair global. The dye makes the hair strands very dry and brittle, so they start breaking from the middle. If you have weak roots, definitely avoid harsh colors or use a good hair mask.

If you are experiencing sudden, heavy hair fall after coloring, please consult a dermatologist. It could be an allergic contact dermatitis or chemical sensitivity on your scalp. It is always safer to get your scalp examined to prevent any permanent damage.

I love coloring my hair but yes, it does cause some dryness and breakage if you don't take care. It doesn't fall from the roots, it just breaks because of dryness. Try using a color-protect shampoo and deep conditioning twice a week to keep it soft.

Our hair reflects our inner vitality and peace. When we put strong chemicals on it, it is bound to lose some strength and shine. Treat your hair with natural oils and stay positive, because stress causes far more hair fall than any hair color ever will.

I have been coloring my hair for ten years and learnt this the hard way. It doesn't cause hair loss from the scalp unless you have an allergy, but it makes hair very brittle. Always buy ammonia-free colors and never skip a hair serum after your hair wash.

Yes, it can cause hair breakage due to dryness. Make sure to use a good post-color conditioner to minimize the damage.
