Does gut health help with weight loss?

I'm finding it really hard to lose weight despite dieting and exercising. A dietitian I consulted briefly mentioned that poor gut health could be a factor. Can improving gut health really make a difference when it comes to losing weight?

Absolutely, it's the foundation of everything. If your digestion is sluggish, your metabolism goes for a toss and no amount of gymming will show results. Fix your gut bacteria first with clean eating and the weight loss will follow much faster.

I am actually very new to learning about all this, but I have read that bad digestion stops us from losing weight properly. Can someone tell me if homemade dahi is enough for this, or do we need to buy those costly drinks from the market?

Don't stress too much about it, I also got super worried thinking my gut was totally ruined when my weight stalled. It turned out to be completely normal and got fixed with basic changes. Just drink enough water, eat fiber, and give your body some time to adjust.

Our body is a temple and everything works in harmony when we keep our mind and stomach peaceful. Eat fresh, positive food with gratitude, and do not worry too much about weight numbers. When you treat your body with love and eat simple food, it naturally finds its healthy balance.

As someone managing diabetes, I have to be very careful with what I eat for gut health. Many packaged probiotic drinks have a lot of hidden sugar which spikes my levels. I stick to home-cooked meals, oats, and plain curd, which keeps both my sugar and weight in control safely.

Please be careful if you are having constant bloating or stomach pain along with weight changes. I ignored my severe digestive symptoms for a year thinking it was just normal gas, and it ended up being a serious infection that took months to cure. Get a proper checkup done by a doctor before starting any heavy diet plan.

It definitely plays a huge role. I track my daily macros and fiber intake on my app, and I noticed my weight loss plateaued whenever my daily fiber fell below 25 grams. Good gut health keeps your digestion efficient, which honestly makes tracking calories and seeing progress much smoother.
