Does food poisoning always cause vomiting?

Last night I ate something that felt a bit off, and today I have a stomach ache and a little nausea, but no vomiting yet. I'm wondering if it could still be food poisoning. Does food poisoning always include vomiting as a symptom?

It is not necessary to always vomit, sometimes our body heals and cleanses itself in different ways like mild loose motions or just a heavy stomach. Please stay positive, keep drinking warm water, and let your body rest.

Bilkul zaroori nahi hai yaar. Kai baar bas stomach pain, diarrhoea ya nausea hoke hi reh jata hai, vomiting nahi hoti. Thoda dhyan rakho aur halki khichdi khao abhi, okay na?

I am actually experiencing this right now, my stomach is hurting badly but I haven't thrown up at all. Is it still considered food poisoning? Should I wait for it to pass or take some electrolytes?

Not always. When I had food poisoning last year, I only had severe stomach cramps and a mild fever, no vomiting at all. If you are feeling very weak, go to a good clinic and ask the doctor clearly about what tests to run.

Arey, food poisoning has many moods! Sometimes it is just a silent stomach ache that keeps you running to the bathroom all day without any vomiting. My stomach starts its own orchestra without any notice after outside food.

No, sometimes it just starts as loose motions or body pain. Best solution is to immediately start taking ORS or salt-sugar water in small sips to avoid dehydration. If things don't settle down by tomorrow, just visit the local clinic.
