Does folic acid help with hair loss?

I've been struggling with significant hair loss recently, and it's quite concerning. Someone suggested that taking folic acid supplements might help improve hair growth and reduce shedding. Is there any truth to this, does it really work?

In our family, we have seen that basic vitamin deficiencies are often the root of hair fall. Folic acid definitely helps because it aids cell division in hair roots. Make sure you are eating your green vegetables alongside.

Yes, folic acid is very helpful for hair health because it promotes red blood cell production, which carries oxygen to your scalp. Don't worry too much, just take your supplement regularly and eat well. Things will improve soon.

Haan, folic acid se hair growth mein fayda toh hota hai na. Yeh scalp ke cells ko strength deta hai jisse jhadna kam hota hai. Par iske sath thoda protein aur healthy diet bhi zaroori hai.

Folic acid is basically Vitamin B9, which is clinically proven to assist in healthy hair cell division. If your hair fall is due to a deficiency, it will definitely solve the issue. Just get a doctor's nod on the dosage first.

I ignored my heavy hair shedding for a year thinking it was normal aging, but it was a severe nutrient deficiency. Folic acid helps, but please get a full blood panel done to see if your iron or thyroid levels are also low.

Bro, folic acid really worked for my hairline. My doc gave it to me along with biotin and it took about two months to show proper results. Just be consistent with it and don't expect overnight magic.

Folic acid hair loss ke liye sach mein accha hota hai, ho na. Maine khud dadi ke kehne pe green leafy vegetables badhaye aur doctor ki di hui B9 goli khayi. Kafi farq padta hai thode din mein.

Yes, folic acid supports hair growth by improving blood circulation. Along with the supplement, I do 20 minutes of daily cardio or yoga to increase blood flow to my scalp naturally. It works wonders together.

Since I manage diabetes, nutrient absorption can sometimes be a bit poor, leading to hair fall. Folic acid supplements have been very helpful for my hair strength. Just make sure to check with your physician so it doesn't clash with your other medications.

My doctor prescribed me folic acid for my thinning hair. I have been taking it for two weeks now but haven't seen much change yet. Does it take a long time to show results for others too?
