Does flax seeds help in weight loss?

My nutritionist recommended adding flax seeds to my diet for general health, but I'm also hoping it might help with my weight. Do flax seeds actually help in weight loss, or is it more for overall well-being?

Honestly, I put them in my curd thinking they would make me slim overnight, but here I am at 2 AM, still awake and eating chips. They do help with digestion though, which is a big relief when your sleep and diet cycle is a total mess like mine.

I started eating ground flax seeds last week, but I feel quite bloated. Did anyone else face this issue when starting out? I really want to continue for weight loss but this bloating is making me nervous.

I totally get it, trying to find things that actually work for weight loss is so tiring. Flax seeds have a lot of fiber, so they keep you full for a long time and stop you from overeating. They definitely helped me manage my portion sizes.

They are actually great to sprinkle on top of salads or mix in smoothies because they add a nice nutty crunch. But let us be real, you cannot eat butter chicken every day, put one spoon of alsi on top, and expect to lose weight. Balance is key!

People on social media talk about flax seeds like they are some magical weight loss pill. Don't fall for these internet trends blindly. Talk to a qualified dietitian or doctor who can create a proper, sustainable diet plan for your body type.

They actually work to control cravings, yaar. I roast them slightly and have a spoonful with water when I get those random evening hunger pangs. It really keeps you full so you don't end up ordering junk.

My mother always said alsi seeds are very good for stomach health. When I asked my doctor, she confirmed they are rich in dietary fiber and soluble mucilage, which helps control hunger. Just make sure to grind them, otherwise they pass out undigested.
