Yes, absolutely! Fermented foods like simple homemade curd, idli batter, or kanji are great for digestion. When your gut health is good, your metabolism improves, which naturally helps in reducing weight without spending money on expensive diet foods.

fermented foods are rich in probiotics which balance your gut flora and help control cravings and bloating. Adding a bowl of fresh dahi to your daily lunch is a very practical way to support your weight loss journey. Just make sure to avoid packaged sweet yogurts from the market.

Fermented foods definitely support weight loss by improving digestion and nutrient absorption. Traditional vegetarian options like dahi, dhokla, and fermented pickles are wonderful, but make sure they are not made with refined flour (maida) or loaded with excess salt and oil.

Managing PCOS has taught me how crucial gut health is for insulin levels and weight. Fermented foods like homemade buttermilk really help with bloating, but remember they are just one small part of the solution. It works best when combined with regular physical activity and a low-carb lifestyle.

I used to think I had to buy fancy, expensive kombucha and kefir for weight loss and got so stressed about my diet plan. Then my grandmother reminded me that simple homemade dahi is also a fermented food! Once I started eating a cup of curd daily, my digestion improved and I slowly started losing weight.

Hey, don't overcomplicate your diet. Fermented foods are great for your gut health, which in turn helps your body burn fat more efficiently. Just include simple things like buttermilk or idlis in your diet regularly, stay active, and don't stress too much about the daily weight scale.
