Does eating less cause weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight, and everyone keeps telling me to just 'eat less'. Is it really that simple, does eating less automatically cause weight loss, or are there other factors?

I tried starving myself to lose weight and ended up with severe nutritional deficiencies and weakness. Please don't do this blindly; get a proper blood test and consult a doctor first.

Listen, don't stress too much about eating less. Just focus on eating healthy stuff like fruits and salads rather than starving yourself, okay?

I started eating very little but now I feel dizzy and my hair fall has increased. Has anyone else experienced this while trying to lose weight?

For diabetic patients, eating too little can cause dangerous drops in blood sugar levels. Please consult your physician before changing your food intake.

Eating less can help, but you need to manage your BP and lifestyle too. Make sure to get regular doctor checkups instead of just cutting down food suddenly.

Starving will only slow down your metabolism. It is much better to eat small, frequent meals with good protein to lose weight safely.

Honestly, skipping mess food is easy, but then I end up ordering pizza at night. It's better to just eat regular home-style meals in limits.

I tried eating just salads for a month and lost some muscle, not fat. Now I eat high protein in limit and lift weights, which works much better.

According to my fitness tracker, eating too few calories actually puts your body in starvation mode and stalls fat loss. Focus on a moderate calorie deficit instead.

It is not about eating less, but eating right. Swap your simple carbs with fiber-rich vegetarian options like sprouts and paneer to see safe results.
