Does doxycycline cause weight gain?

I've been on Doxycycline for a while now due to an infection. I've noticed a slight increase in my weight and I'm not sure why. Is it possible that this antibiotic causes weight gain?

Doxycycline is just a short-term antibiotic, so it is highly unlikely to cause any significant weight gain. If you are feeling bloated, it is probably just gut imbalance from the antibiotics. Just take a probiotic and continue your busy routine.

Nahi beta, isse vajan nahi badhta hai. Yeh toh bas infection theek karne ki dawa hai. Aap dahi khaya karo iske sath taaki pet me garmi na ho aur tabiyat bilkul sahi rahe.

Medicines can sometimes disturb the digestive fire (Agni) of our body, leading to mild bloating which feels like weight gain. Practice Vajrasana after meals and drink lukewarm water. This will keep your digestive system balanced naturally.

Hey, don't stress too much about it! Doxycycline doesn't cause weight gain at all. Just focus on recovering from whatever infection you have, and eat your comfort food in peace. You are doing great!

Aise kaise vajan badh jayega antibiotic se? Yeh koi steroid nahi hai. Bina fikar kiye apna course poora karo aur oily food se thoda door raho. Sab theek ho jayega.
