Does dandruff stunt hair growth?

I've been struggling with stubborn dandruff for a while, and my hair also feels a bit weak and thin, not growing much. I'm wondering if this dandruff issue could be stunting my hair's growth, making it look less voluminous and healthy.

No, it doesn't stunt hair growth, but the constant scratching sure makes you look like you're losing hair! At this age, my hair grows slowly anyway, so I don't blame the dandruff. Just wash your hair regularly and let it be.

Hey there! Don't worry at all, dandruff definitely doesn't stunt your hair growth. It just makes the scalp a bit unhappy, but once you clear it up with a good shampoo, your hair will grow beautifully. Keep smiling!

I feel like my hair has been the exact same length for the past six months, and my dandruff is also quite bad. Has anyone else felt that their hair growth actually slowed down when they had dandruff, or is it just my mind playing tricks?

The natural growth of your hair is a beautiful process that doesn't stop because of simple skin flakes. Keep your mind positive, take care of your scalp with gentle care, and do not let these small worries stress you.

I completely understand the anxiety of feeling like your hair is ruined and won't grow back because of this. I used to stare at the mirror and feel so down. But trust me, dandruff only causes temporary breakage, it does not permanently stunt your growth.
