Does dandruff make your hair grow?

I have a lot of dandruff, and honestly, my hair does seem to be growing quite fast lately. Someone told me dandruff might actually stimulate hair growth because of the active cell turnover. Is there any truth to this idea that dandruff makes your hair grow faster?

No, dandruff definitely does not make your hair grow. It actually causes hair fall.

This is absolute nonsense. Dandruff is a fungal infection, and it damages your hair roots, it doesn't help them grow.

I went to Apollo Hospital for my hair fall. The doctor clearly said dandruff creates inflammation which stops hair growth, so please consult a specialist.

A clean body reflects a clean mind. Dandruff is just an imbalance, so keep your scalp healthy and stay positive.

It doesn't help growth at all. If you are having severe hair issues along with dandruff, get your thyroid levels checked like I did, as that is often the real culprit.

Hey, don't listen to these weird rumors. Dandruff only clogs your scalp. Keep your head clean and don't stress, okay?
