Does cradle cap make hair fall out?

My little one has developed cradle cap, and when I try to gently clean it, some hair strands come out with the scales. It's making me quite nervous. Does cradle cap actually make a baby's hair fall out, or is it temporary?

My baby's hair is coming out in tiny clumps along with the cradle cap flakes and it is making me so nervous. Did this happen to anyone else's baby? Please tell me if it grew back normal.

I have raised three children and seen many grandchildren deal with this. Cradle cap is just a temporary phase and does not cause permanent hair loss. Be patient, apply a little warm oil, and the hair will return thick and healthy.

We took our baby to a top dermatologist in Mumbai for this. He assured us it doesn't cause any permanent hair fall and told us never to scratch it. It's always best to ask your doctor clearly for your specific case.

While cradle cap in babies doesn't cause permanent hair fall, any unusual skin or hair changes should always be discussed with a doctor. Regular checkups are key to ensuring the baby is healthy and getting the right nutrients.

Don't worry, cradle cap doesn't cause lasting hair loss. Just like managing health conditions requires patience and gentle care, baby skin issues just need a soft touch and mild, unscented baby oil.
