Does coenzyme q10 cause hair loss?

I started taking CoQ10 supplements for heart health a few months ago. Lately, I've noticed my hair seems to be thinning. Could coenzyme Q10 be causing hair loss as a side effect?

Wait, really? I thought CoQ10 is actually good for hair thinning. I haven't heard of it causing hair loss at all. Maybe there's some other supplement or stress that is causing the hair fall, bro.

Actually, Coenzyme Q10 is generally known to support hair health and cell growth, not cause hair loss. If you are experiencing sudden shedding, it could be due to stress, thyroid, or some other reason. Better to get your basic blood panel done.

Nahi bhai, isse baal nahi girte. My doctor gave it to me for my heart health and my hair is totally fine. If your hair is falling out, maybe it is due to hard water or stress. Do ask a local doctor once.

No, CoQ10 doesn't cause hair loss. It actually helps with cellular energy and is sometimes recommended for hair growth. If you are worried, focus on a diet rich in iron, zinc, and protein first, and consult your dermatologist.

I've been taking CoQ10 for a year for energy levels and haven't noticed any hair fall. It's usually the opposite. If you're losing hair rapidly, stop guessing and book an appointment with a skin and hair specialist.
