Does cocaine cause hair loss?

I've noticed my hair thinning quite a bit recently, and I'm trying to pinpoint the reasons. Could using cocaine actually be a cause for hair loss?

Yes, it definitely does because it starves the hair follicles of oxygen and essential nutrients. I lost a lot of hair due to poor lifestyle choices in my younger days. Focus on high-protein food, completely stop the bad habits, and give your scalp at least six months to show signs of recovery.

Actually yaar, it completely messes up your sleep and nutrition, which obviously leads to crazy hair fall. Your body is basically under constant stress. Just cut out the trash from your life, eat decent food, and things should start getting better.

When we put toxic chemicals in our system, the body's natural balance is shattered, which shows up as hair fall and dull skin. Doing daily kapalbhati and sheetali pranayama can help purify the blood. But first, you must keep your body free from any such harmful substances.

I didn't know that lifestyle choices could affect hair so directly. Is the hair loss permanent or does it grow back once the body is clean? I am just trying to understand how the recovery works.

I have been noticing so much hair shedding lately after going through a stressful phase, is it really that bad for everyone? It makes me so anxious to think about chemical damage. Has anyone actually managed to regrow their hair after stopping completely?

The drug causes blood vessels to constrict, which means your hair roots don't get the oxygen they need to survive. This leads to a condition called telogen effluvium where hair sheds rapidly. Best is to consult a doctor for a proper multivitamin plan and leave the habit completely.

Your body's circulation gets completely ruined with such habits, similar to what happens in uncontrolled diabetes. If the blood doesn't reach your scalp properly, hair will fall out. You need a proper clean diet and doctor's advice to fix the internal damage.

Your physical health is a complete package, and toxic substances destroy your cardiovascular system. If your blood flow is poor, your hair follicles die. Regular cardio and weight training, with doctor's permission, can improve circulation and slowly restore your health.

Arre, at my age, even normal life makes hair fall out, let alone adding expensive chemicals to the mix! If you want to keep whatever hair is left on your head, just stay away from these things. Your wallet and your head will both thank you.

My elders always say that what you put inside reflects on your hair and skin health. While traditional hair oils are good, for severe damage like this, you must consult a proper dermatologist. They can run blood tests to see what exactly is lacking.
