Does cbc show liver function?
I recently had a CBC test done as part of my annual health check. I'm trying to understand the results better. Does a CBC test actually show liver function, or do I need a separate test for that?

Haha, no boss, CBC is purely for your blood cells. It won't tell you how your liver is dealing with last weekend's biryani! You need a proper LFT for that.

Actually CBC is totally different, yaar. It only tells you about your hemoglobin, platelets and all. For liver health, you have to get LFT done specifically.

Nahi, CBC se liver function nahi pata chalta. CBC toh bas blood cells check karne ke liye hota hai na. Liver ke liye LFT test karwana padega, doctor se ek baar pooch lo.

No, CBC tracks your blood count parameters. I always track my blood biomarkers on my fitness app, and liver function requires a separate Liver Function Test (LFT) panel to check bilirubin and enzymes.

No, CBC does not check liver function. You need to get an LFT (Liver Function Test) done for that.
