Does carb cycling work for weight loss?

My gym trainer mentioned carb cycling as a way to lose weight faster. I'm trying to shed about 10 kilos, but I'm not sure if this method is effective or just a fad. Does carb cycling really work for weight loss?

Yes, it absolutely can work if you do it right! Carb cycling helps keep your metabolism high and gives you energy for heavy workouts on high-carb days. Just listen to your body and keep smiling through the journey!

I have spent hours reading about carb cycling, worrying if eating carbs on the wrong day would ruin my progress. It can work, but tracking everything so closely gets very stressful, so please don't burn yourself out over the exact numbers.

Carb cycling sounds great until it is a low-carb day and someone brings hot kachoris to the office! It does work for weight loss, but keeping your sanity during those low-carb days is the real challenge here.

We didn't have these fancy terms like carb cycling in our times, but we naturally ate less heavy grains on light-work days. It is a good, practical method to keep weight in check, but do not make your diet too complicated or stressful.

Ji, eating heavy food on days you work hard in the fields and light food like simple dal-roti on rest days is an old habit. It definitely helps to keep the body light and healthy, so you can surely try doing it.

Carb cycling is great because it doesn't require you to buy expensive foreign keto ingredients or supplements. You can easily do it with cheap, everyday Indian food like rice, oats, and seasonal vegetables, which fits any budget perfectly.
